    About Us

    SACMHA is a charitable organisation established in 1988 in response to the mental health needs of people of African or Caribbean descent. They also offer they offer Day Care support to people from the community in need of assistance from the elderly age to youth, disability, financial hardship or social disadvantage.

    SACMHA also recognises the need and role of carers in its service provision. SACMHA aims to provide a range of culturally appropriate services to both male and female from the age of 18. SACMHA will be responsive to the changing social care needs of the people and communities they serve.

    Delivering this they provide a range of social and health care facilities, research, information, advice and education, on all aspects of mental and physical health amongst their beneficiaries.

    Mon – Thurs 9.00am – 5.00pm Fri 9.00am – 4.30pm
    Provides help in the home, a befriending and sitting service and one to one
    support for carers including finance and budgeting, support to access other
    services and services for those being cared for.
