The provisions that LBEA provides are to keep our elders within their own homes for as long as possible, as a third sector organisation we are often the first contact that our elders may consider visiting. This gives Leeds Black Elders Association the opportunity to carry out an initial assessment which enables the Association to identify areas that will enhance the service users' life.

The Leeds Black Elders Association aims to provide services which are innovative and appropriate to the needs of elders, in particular, but not exclusively, the needs of black elders, and to act as advocates for the purpose of empowering and enabling such individuals, and representing their interests in order to break down barriers to equality of opportunity.
