It's hard looking after someone with dementia especially for the family so if you need to speak, share or help then please post questions, answers and experiences here so others can share your journey and help you along the way. It's harder to cope if you keep it inside.
Discussions around Culturally Sensitive Dementia. Share cultural traits and experiences that may help a carer or a family looking after someone with dementia from a specific background. So for example in the Caribbean, Plaiting the hair was an important part of growing up for young girls and women, or putting on your Sunday best etc which can be par to the caring process.
